Jessica Brooks Lane

Jessica Lane has 18+ years of experience in higher-ed institutional advancement (private and public colleges and not-for-profits), healthcare philanthropy, major and principal gift fundraising, and volunteer board management. She has been an integral part of strategic constituent and community engagement of diverse populations and campaign development, institution-wide and initiative-specific. Jessica provided oversight of UAB’s largest medical alumni campaign and helped the Heersink School of Medicine exceed its alumni giving goal of $30 million during the University’s historic billion-dollar comprehensive campaign. As a certified pharmacy technician for a decade-plus with Bessemer Apothecary and as an aide to local nursing homes since her youth, Jessica has observed both the art and science of medicine. A graduate of the College of Communication and Information Sciences at The University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa), she is active in multiple community and service organizations, including the Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama, the Junior League of Birmingham, and the Alabama Ballet. She has extensive performing arts experience and training.
